We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder | Fabricator Operative to work for our client based in Loughborough on a temporary to permanent and full-time basis.

Salary: £13 - £16 depending on experience

Hours: 6am - 2pm | 2pm - 10pm rotating shifts

About the role:

· Working towards production targets.

· Ensuring that all products are manufactured to customer specification.

· MIG welding on sheet metal components

· Ensuring strong and accurate welds

· Set up and adjust welding equipment

· Read and interpret engineering drawings

· Perform quality checks using measuring tools to verify weld integrity

· Support grinding and finishing of welded components as required

· Accurately completing all relevant documentation in a timely manner.

· Responsible for all personal equipment, gauges and tooling ensuring that they are kept in good condition and accounted for.

About you:

· Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

· Good standard of verbal and written English

· Good standard of numeracy skills

· MIG/TIG/Spot weld experience

· Must be able to read engineering drawings

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high quality work.

· Confident working with power tools and machinery safely
